Press release:
FRANCE — 11 Aug., 2026 — Agent 64: Spies Never Die, the N64-inspired first-person shooter by solo developer Replicant D6, goes in guns-blazing today on PC via Steam. A dossier of classified console launch dates will be unrestricted in the future.
Life-or-death firefights seem to never scuff Secret agent John Walter’s perfectly pressed tuxedo and impeccably polished shoes. Suit up, but don’t forget the Body Armor, and put a stop to the dastardly deeds of John’s evil arch-nemesis, Dominic Pulp, in an action-packed spy thriller.
Save the world solo or form a four-man spy ring, with both local and online co-op options, across an epic 14-mission campaign. Fight armed henchmen in over-the-top shootouts. Free civilian hostages. Steal secret plans. Don the occasional disguise and stroll through peril, while accomplishing each mission’s objectives in any order.
Go from junior operative to espionage expert by unlocking greater difficulty levels, which feature more objectives to accomplish and additional areas to explore for every level. Wield an arsenal ranging from World-War-era machine guns to futuristic Plasma Rifles. Shoot quick from the hip to take out imminent threats, or aim down the sights to accurately assassinate enemies from afar.
Grab a fistful of Proximity Mines and relive the golden age of couch competition. Fight friends in both four-player local splitscreen multiplayer and eight-player online deathmatch, with up to eight additional bots. Compete for territory in king-of-the-hill style Zone mode, or cling to classified documents longer than opponents in Briefcase mode.
Create fully customizable online lobbies featuring 70+ nostalgic cheats and modifiers like Big Heads, Melee Disarms, slow bullet speeds, and randomized weapons to keep the action gloriously unpredictable.
“Calling a game a love letter to the ‘90s sounds a bit cliché, but I think there’s no better way to describe Agent 64,” said solo developer Replicant D6.
“It’s a brand new experience for gamers who never played Rare’s N64 masterpieces, and instantly familiar territory for anyone raised on the classics, while modernizing a beloved formula.”
Agent 64: Spies Never Die sabotages enemy espionage everywhere today on PC via Steam with support for English, French, and Japanese languages. Purchase the base game for $21.64, or opt for the Supporter’s Edition featuring the Original Soundtrack and a golden pistol skin for $29.64, coming soon on Steam.
