The Wiesbaden-based (Germany) indie games publisher and developer Assemble Entertainment and Munich-based (Germany) indie games developer SenAm Games, today announced with great joy and excitement that their narrative-based investigative noir VN “Hauma – A Detective Noir Story“, is now available for PC via Steam.

Hauma occurs in real-world locations near and around the heart of Munich. Inspired by comics and graphic novels, players will jump into the shoes of a detective investigating a strange conspiracy taking place among Munich’s upper echelons of society.

Hauma follows the main character, Judith, a former detective who has been forced back into the limelight to investigate suspicious activities that have been taking place in Munich among the upper class. Players will be able to visit real-world locations, such as the historic House of Art, in order to gather hints and information to help with their investigation. The deeper players dive, the more they will reveal about both the upper-class citizens and the city’s past itself.

While venturing through Munich, players will have to solve puzzles and riddles while utilizing Judith’s mindboard. The mindboard allows Judith to make deductions and acts as an inventory for players to store all crucial items and thoughts. Hauma is a fully voice-acted experience that encourages players to pull up their sleeves and dive into the darkest corners of Munich to see what they can dig up.
