The Mumbai-based (India) indie games developer Frostwood Interactive (in association with Mumbai-based studio Dino Digital), are today very excited and happy to announce that their narrative-driven puzzle game “Unwording”, is coming to PC (Windows, MAC, and Linux) via Steam and GOG on April 27th, 2023, for $4.99 / £4.29 / €4.59.

There will also be an a 10% discount as part of the Steam Puzzle Fest (April 24 – May 1) and LudoNarraCon (May 4 – 8).

Drawing from the developer’s own personal experiences with negative thought patterns, and inspired by games such as Florence, Mosaic, and When the Past was Around, Unwording takes players on an uplifting journey through the mind of Tom.

As you solve a series of word puzzles and explore Tom’s neighborhood from different perspectives, you’ll help him overcome his negative thoughts and discover a new outlook on life.

About the game
Tom sees the world through a lonely, glass-half-empty lens. To him, everyday objects morph into complex word puzzles, reminding him of all that he lacks. As he solves each puzzle, the solutions spell out messages that are irrational and defeating.

Until one day, he forgets to shut his window and lets a mischievous little yellow bird into his life, turning his life upside down.

The bird’s mischief causes chaos, and by solving word puzzles and exploring his neighborhood, Tom must begin to see things from a different perspective, changing his mindset and transforming his life and the world around him.
