Press release:
ForestLight Games and Ultimate Games S.A. today announced that their adventure-survival game “Lost Viking: Kingdom of Women” is coming to PC via Steam in mid 2020.

The title tells the story of a Viking and a wolf who face a great challenge and just as great a mystery. As the creators of ForestLight Games studio announce, Lost Viking: Kingdom of Women will offer gameplay full of struggle for survival, an extensive crafting system and stylish, low poly 3D graphics.

ForestLight Games is working on Lost Viking: Kingdom of Women. This is a new studio from Poland with experienced artists among its ranks, who have previously co-created many other projects. The publisher of the game will be Ultimate Games S.A.

The creators explain that Lost Viking: Kingdom of Women will be an adventure-survival game with a third-person perspective (TPP). The title offers extensive and varied gameplay.

The action is set in the medieval reality of Eastern Europe, and the main characters are Ragnald and a wolf called Raga. The plot concerns the expedition of a group of Vikings who will fall into a trap set by ruthless warriors from the Kingdom of Women. Ragnald needs to find his family and face a dangerous and unknown reality.

“The game world we create refers to historical realities. The game has plenty of specific architecture, objects, clothing, nature, etc. The history itself, however, refers to medieval legends. However, we will not reveal the details” says art director and level designer at ForestLight Games, Maciej Szymaś.

ForestLight Games studio is preparing diversified gameplay, full of main and side tasks. The key elements will be a fight for survival and discovering unknown sites.

In Lost Viking: Kingdom of Women players can expect things like a sophisticated crafting system, numerous survival challenges and several very innovative elements that make this game stand out from other titles.

“Lost Viking: Kingdom of Women combines adventure, exploring the unknown, a fight for survival and a fascinating history. This adventure will not be easy, but Ragnald will not be alone.

He’ll be supported by a wolf, i.e. a Viking’s best friend. In many situations the wolf is necessary and the player will have to also take care of his companion” announces Maciej Szymaś.

The main features of Lost Viking: Kingdom of Women:

  • A fight for survival;
  • An extensive crafting system;
  • An unknown world to discover;
  • Diversified gameplay;
  • Stylish, low poly 3D graphics;
