Press release:
Chicken Rider is a new endless runner type game that has been released in the free-to-play (F2P) model. As its creator from Red Dev Studio explained, the game stands out with its engaging and varied gameplay, cartoon graphics and abstract humor. From July 31 this year Chicken Rider is available for PC/Mac (Steam) and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
Red Dev Studio, which is responsible for the game, is dedicated to developing games on desktop and mobile platforms. The thirteen-person team from Poland already has on its game account Professor Madhouse and the logic-arcade game Powertris. The publisher of both games is the company Ultimate Games, which earlier issued such games as Ultimate Fishing Simulator, Darkest Hunters and Earthworms.
The gameplay in Chicken Rider is based on one-button control and the endless runner formula, where the player moves forward all the time and it is not possible to stop. The main hero is a polar bear who fights for the freedom of other animals.
The developers indicate that players are waiting for things like varied challenges and locations, and also power-ups affecting the gameplay, thanks to which Chicken Rider is characterized by an above-average lifespan.
“In Chicken Rider, we set the goal of combining affordable and addictive gameplay with a well-thought-out setting in a cartoon style. Our hero is not standard – it is a white polar bear whose means of transport is a chicken. His history is presented in a mini-comic book as the introduction to the game. Our new production also includes humorous elements and funny animations” explains the founder of Red Dev Studio, Wojciech Sypko.
The game was released in the F2P distribution model. As a result, the costs incurred by players are optional. As the producer explains, people who are interested can buy, for example, additional clothes and “mounts”.
The main features of Chicken Rider:
-Dynamic and exciting gameplay – it is impossible to stop;
– 7 different chickens (“mounts”);
– 8 different location (including Zone 51 and outer space);
– Over 70 different outfits;
– Crazy power-ups (including squirrel commando and tabasco sauce).
Chicken Rider appeared on PC, Mac, iOS and Android on July 31, 2018.
