The Warsaw-based video game publisher Hyperstrange and indie games developer Paranoid Interactive today announced with great joy and excitement that their Norse-themed RTS/city builder “Frozenheim” is now available for PC via Steam Early Access.

Today is the day – you can take the place of an earl of a viking village in Frozenheim. It is a day in which you will learn that the path to the glorious halls of Valhalla requires not only courage and skill in battle, but also coping with everyday life in your settlement.

The Frozen North is full of serene moments, in which you must provide proper guidance to your people. Survive. Conquer. Thrive. Make Odin proud!

Hyperstrange and Paranoid Interactive give players the opportunity to earn the respect of the gods of Asgard. Clever management of the village and cunning battle tactics in raids are only two of the skills required to become worthy of your own saga in Frozenheim.

Frozenheim enters Steam Early Access today and will be developed based on players’ ideas and suggestions. The full version of the game will be released at the beginning of 2022.

We believe the community feedback is our key resource to making Frozenheim a great game. For that reason we decided to involve players in the game’s development as soon as we could. That’s why what users are getting for the special, low early-adopter price is still somewhat limited and some bugs may occur. The game will, however, grow quickly and gain polish, following our monthly update schedule – says Wojtek Mroczek, Chief of Publishing at Hyperstrange.

The roadmap below highlights updates planned for the game in the upcoming months.

As an earl you will:

⚬ Build and expand a Viking village from nothing to a rich, unconquerable settlement,

⚬ Forage, hunt, fish, grow your food, and keep your clan safe as the seasons pass,

⚬ Find your own progression path as you learn to utilize new buildings and units,

⚬ Explore the fjords of Midgard, launch raid parties on foot or set sail in your longboats,

⚬ Seek the blessings of ancient shrines and build temples to win the favor of Asgard,

⚬ Raid other players or form alliances with them in multiplayer matches,

⚬ Capture the raw beauty of the Frozen North in photo-mode.
