Press release:
Mumbai – India, March 23rd, 2021.
The India-based video game publisher Dino Digital and the indie games developer Frostwood Interactive today announced that their nostalgic-like puzzle/adventure game “Forgotten Fields” is coming to PC via Steam on April 14th, 2021.
After an extremely successful, overfunded Kickstarter campaign and being part of the Steam Summer Festival, Forgotten Fields will take you on a
journey back home prior to it being sold off to another family to rekindle memories for Sid, a struggling author with a creative block.
Taking inspiration the warm coastal locales of Goa, India; games such as What Remains of Edith Finch, Life is Strange, and utilizing the same stylization as their previous title Rainswept, Forgotten Fields will
see Sid journey home for a family reunion one last time in his childhood home.
Tasked with meeting the deadline for the grant application, you’ll conquer Sids writing block by playing the very story he’s writing. Solve puzzles, get cozy with old friends and prepare for a meditative experience which will stick with you for some time.
“I’m really excited to share a game world based off Goa, India with the rest of the world”. said Armaan, Director at Frostwood Interactive.
“I think it’ll be a very new and unique experience, and I can’t wait to see
what players think of it!.”
Forgotten Fields will launch on Steam on April 14th, 2021, for £11.39 / $14.99 / €12.49 with the first week featuring a 15% discount.. On top of this, a Forgotten Fields & Rainswept bundle will be available for
£14.10 / $18.99 / €16.29
About Frostwood Interactive
A one-man studio run by Armaan Sandhu, Frostwood Interactive was created in 2017 for the development of Rainswept. I’ve always been a big fan of single player games that focus on storytelling, characters, and atmosphere and the goal with my own projects is to create cinematic works that hopefully move, affect and influence people emotionally.
