Press release:
January 30, 2025.
The indie games publisher Nokhook Entertainment and indie games developer Brightika, Inc., today announced with great thrill and delight that their old-school turn-based 2D RPG “LostMagic“, is now available for PC via Steam Early Access.

LostMagic is a nostalgic game that embraces classic RPG traditions. Set in a mysterious world where Earth’s people battle for dwindling magical energy, players can join secret organizations, solve puzzles, and uncover hidden Easter eggs in an immersive narrative.

The current game features a dynamic turn-based combat system with numerous skills and talents, requiring strategic planning to defeat opponents. Players can explore challenging dungeons solo or in groups of up to five, battle in PvP arenas, or conquer the “Tower of Arcana,” starting without equipment and improvising to win.

The full version of the game will include additional content such as new dungeons, skills, and balance adjustments, all shaped by player activity and feedback. The developers aim to enhance the game experience throughout Early Access, ensuring a more polished and expansive final release.

Features:

Immersive Storyline: Dive into a mysterious world where Earthlings fight for the remnants of magical energy, uncover hidden secrets, and join secret organizations.

Old-School Turn-Based Combat: Engage in strategic battles by analyzing opponents’ weaknesses and leveraging skills and talents.

Challenging Dungeons: Complete unique dungeons solo or in groups of up to 5, each featuring distinct bosses and rewards.

PvP Arenas: Test your skills in team-based battles or climb the “Tower of Arcana,” starting with no equipment and proving your ingenuity.

Dynamic Factions and Quests: Align with groups like the Swamp Legion or Last Order, tackle gang conflicts, and explore enigmatic areas like the Nameless City and Area 51.

Creative Exploration: Solve riddles, uncover fascinating Easter eggs, and enjoy quirky elements like starry sneakers that defy time.

Endless Activities: With its rich content, LostMagic offers endless opportunities for adventure and discovery.
