The Seattle-based (WA, the US) indie games publisher tinyBuild and Atlanta-based (GA, the US) indie games developer Igloosoft, are today very thrilled and glad to announce that their open-world 2D side-scrolling survival game “Farworld Pioneers”, is now available for PC (via Steam) and Xbox (Xbox Series X/S, and the Xbox One) via digital stores (a PlayStation 4|5 launch will follow on Thursday, June 14th).

Embark on an out-of-this-world adventure, following a crash landing on an alien planet. Explore a diverse set of biomes across multiple planets and uncover extraterrestrial secrets. Survive off of scarce resources to build up a thriving frontier colony.

Harvest materials to build structures and expand further into the world and arm the team to the teeth. The more impressive the settlement becomes, the greater the danger. Keep the crew’s wits about them, as raiders and unknown alien life lurks in the shadows. Maintain the physical and mental health of your survivors in fast-paced combat, and find the most creative and efficient ways to grow your base.

Develop skills in farming, researching, and the multitude of tasks needed to terraform a once desolate planet. Utilize nuclear power, save additional survivors, build a crew willing to defend the settlement, and expand beyond your first planet to colonize other worlds. Enjoy the intergalactic pioneering life solo, or jump in with up to 32 friends per server to engage in PvP or co-op modes.

Farworld Pioneers launches on PC and Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam today for $14.99. PlayStation 4|5 releases on Thursday, June 14. It supports English, Portuguese (Brazil), French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Simplified Chinese languages.
