The Indie game development studio Bert Games today announced with great happiness and excitement that their open-world survival crafting RPG “Surviving Skeleton Island“, is now available for PC via Steam Early Access.

A downloadable demo version of the game is currently available. It is also on a 40% discount for the next 7 days only.

Surviving Skeleton Island is a captivating game where you’re stranded on a mysterious island filled with dangers, hidden treasures, and crucial resources. You must explore, hunt, gather, and craft powerful tools, weapons, and armor while uncovering the island’s secrets and the truth behind your amnesia. With over 12 unique biomes, dungeons, and formidable bosses, every choice you make influences your survival and progression.

Ghostly characters provide quests, rare items, and opportunities to trade with the enigmatic ghost maidens for epic gear. As you gain experience, you can build legendary weapons, armor, and structures, brew potions, and even enchant your equipment. Tame pets to sniff out hidden treasures, ride mounts for faster travel, and construct rafts, boats, or flying machines to reach resource-rich islands—or even escape forever.

Building and defending your base is key to survival, as nightfall brings new threats and challenges. Expand your skills, interact with undead NPCs, and solve their quests to uncover lost memories and the island’s deeper mysteries. Whether you choose to master ancient magic, forge powerful weapons, or rule the island, your destiny is yours to shape as you fight to survive.

The full version of the game will feature expanded content shaped by community feedback throughout Early Access. This includes a larger world, more enemies, new NPCs, additional quests, and ongoing improvements in polish, balance, and bug fixes to enhance the overall experience.
