02 OCTOBER 2019 – Manchester-based studio The Game Production Company today announce their debut title “Adventure in Aellion” (the game is coming to PC via Steam in 2020 next year), an open-world fantasy playground filled with dangerous dungeons and exciting quests just waiting for a lone adventurer – or a party of explorers – to uncover.

Alongside a full announcement trailer, The Game Production Company have also announced that an early demo of Adventure in Aellion will be playable at EGX in London this month.

The trailer showcases the bright, colourful world of Aellion, filled with puzzles, a diverse cast of characters and the seamless drop-in drop-out open world just waiting for new adventurers to explore it.

When asked about the inspiration for Adventure in Aellion, Game Production Company Director Luke O’Donoghue said:

“I’ve always wondered about the lack of cooperative adventure games where you could be exploring a dungeon or climbing a mountain and friends can drop in and join you.”

“The idea as a player really appealed to me – so we decided to make one ourselves!”

Regarding a core motivation behind Adventure in Aellion’s development, he continued: “It’s important for us to deliver a complete experience to the player, where they aren’t distracted with thoughts of having to pay extra to unlock more content.”

“In the world of Aellion you progress by discovering on your own or working with your friends.”

The Game Production Company is a Manchester based studio founded in 2015 by Director Luke O’Donoghue. He soon teamed up with University of Northampton Games Art graduate and long-term friend Elliott Dodsworth to transform Adventure in Aellion from a concept to a growing, exciting adventure.
