Press release:
April 17, 2025 – Dallas, TX.
The San Diego-based (CA, the US) indie games publisher and developer Crytivo are today very proud and happy to announce that their open-world farming and automation game “Autonomica“, is now fully funded on Kickstarter:

“Crytivo’s open-world farming and automation game Autonomica has struck a major chord with gamers across the globe, smashing its Kickstarter funding goal of $170,000 in under 24 hours. As of today, the campaign has already soared past $247,000 – shy 3k of unlocking its first stretch goal: the Modular Aquarium System.” – Crytivo

From cozy farming to mech battles, romantic storylines, and ghost hunting, Autonomica is an ambitious blend of survival crafting, automation, retro sci-fi, and multiplayer experiences – all wrapped in a vibrant, solarpunk world. The overwhelming support from backers affirms what Crytivo hoped for: a growing community eager for a deep, rich sandbox life sim with something for everyone.

“We’re beyond grateful for the passion and excitement around Autonomica,” said Alex Koshelkov.

“This campaign’s momentum means we can go even further than we originally planned. Modular aquariums are just the beginning – more stretch goals and reveals are on the way.”

Since unveiling its 7-minute pre-alpha gameplay trailer, the campaign has garnered attention for its vast scope and systems that let players shape their experience manually or through full automation. With PvE and PvP extraction modes, customizable bases, dynamic seasons, and character-driven stories, Autonomica is shaping up to be a genre-defying experience.

Features:
Open-world exploration with dynamic biomes

Deep automation and farming systems

NPCs with evolving stories, romance, and friendships

Detailed construction and property customization

Dynamic Weather and Seasons

PvEvP extraction mode

Ghost-hunting inspired by Japanese folklore

Time travel with world evolution driven by player-built structures

Pets, animals, mechs, hoverboards, and more
