The Poland-based indie games publisher Games Operators and indie games developer DreamStorm Studios today announced with great delight and thrill that their open-world survival sim/strategy game “Natural Instincts” is now available for PC via Steam Early Access.

Different species have different characteristics and needs, but they are all driven by instinct. Wolves will migrate to the same hunting grounds their ancestors did. Rabbits will reproduce in the same part of the forest they always have.

But the ecosystem is changing. Humans build roads that are dangerous to cross, leave piles of trash that can harm animals, and interfere with the natural environment in many other ways. Natural Instincts will give you the chance to protect the animals, control their breeding, keep dangers away, and balance the ecosystem so it can flourish under your protection.

ABOUT NATURAL INSTINCTS
Natural Instincts is an interactive nature documentary sim that offers the player an open world and the ability to manage the actions of different animals. Protect species and save them from harm – either by natural predators or human threats. Give commands to the animals, observe their habits, and help them survive. React to the encroaching human presence and help the animal kingdom flourish in this unique environmental experience.

NATURAL INSTINCTS – MAIN FEATURES
An innovative gameplay experience where players can manage animals living in their natural environment.
A lush green forest inhabited by unique animals and plants.
Wildlife supervision – observe animals and act immediately by helping them find food, water, or shelter, or keep them away from danger.
Population control – manage the environment’s balance by controlling species population. Increase it by breeding animals or reduce it with the help of predators. Remember, however, that the environment’s balance is incredibly fragile.
Observe and learn – every species’ behavior is different. Watch the animals’ reactions to different situations and use this knowledge to your advantage.
Deal with random events – nature is no fairytale, so make sure your actions are carefully considered.
Influence natural selection – create the ultimate predator by pairing the most aggressive wolves or breed only the fastest rabbits in the forest. The choice is entirely yours.

Natural Instincts is now available on Steam Early Access. The game is being developed by DreamStorm Studios and was published by Games Operators.
