Pirates VR: Jolly Roger is setting sail for the open seas of Meta Quest! The immersive pirate adventure, originally created by Split Light Studio and brought to Meta Quest in co-development by Split Light Studio and Incuvo, will launch on January 29, giving players a chance to explore a tropical island, uncover buried treasures, and face dangers in a full VR experience.

Incuvo, the studio behind Green Hell VR and the recently released TRACKED: Shoot to Survive, has announced the upcoming Meta Quest release of Pirates VR: Jolly Roger during today’s Upload VR Showcase. Some adventurers have already appreciated the title across the seas of Steam and PlayStation VR – and now it’s coming to Meta Quest 3 and 3S on January 29.

Pirates VR: Jolly Roger is a first-person action-adventure VR title that lets you live out your ultimate pirate fantasy. And the Caribbean tropics hide far more than just mysterious shipwrecks… Pursue the fabled treasure of Davy Jones, fight cursed pirates and undead skeletons, solve puzzles, uncover mysteries, and avoid traps set for those greedy for fortune. You’ll be accompanied by your loyal parrot companion – after all, what kind of pirate would you be without a sarcastic bird?

The game drops players on a tropical island where sun-soaked beaches, rocky cliffs, and dark caves await discovery, along with enemies ready to fight! The immersive experience in Pirates VR is built around mechanics that require your coordination. You’ll need to light up dark corners with your lantern, reload your flintlock pistol, and hold on tight to the zipline. Above all stay sharp, solve puzzles that require physical interaction, and dodge traps that might force you to duck, dive, or jump aside.

Pirates VR: Jolly Roger brings the action-packed pirate fantasy to Meta Quest 3 and 3S, combining exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving into a fully interactive world. Previously launched on Steam and PlayStation VR, the game has now been rebuilt and optimized for the Meta Quest platform.
The title launches on January 29 for Meta Quest 3 and 3S, priced at $14.99, with a preorder discount of 13% ($12.99) available for those ready to pull up their sails early.
