Press release:
WIESBADEN, GERMANY (January 28, 2021).
The Germany-based video game publisher Assemble Entertainment (who are best known for their point-and-click adventure game “Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry”), and indie games developer Gentlymad Studio, are today very excited and proud to announce that their post-apocalyptic city-builder “Endzone: A World Apart” is coming to PC on March 18, 2021, via Steam and GOG.

“Endzone – A World Apart” introduces players to a broken and desolate civilization ripe for the taking; while what’s left of humanity seems all but forsaken, it’s up to players to rebuild and restore a world worth fighting for.

“The praise that Endzone – A World Apart has received since its announcement has been overwhelmingly positive and it’s been a joy to share this success with Gentlymad Studio,” said Assemble Entertainment CEO Stefan Marcinek.

“From formal awards to community accolades, Endzone continues to deliver and we’ve been fortunate enough to support the game every step of the way. Through Early Access and now into its full launch, we’re confident that Endzone will continue to keep its player base happy and bring in new fans who are seeking something a little different in the genre.”

Most recently, Endzone – A World Apart received its twelfth overflowing content update titled “Collect and Explore.” The update provided players with brand new Expeditions as well as content expansions to existing expeditions, adding even more value and depth to essential in-game tasks.

Additionally, players can now find Collectibles that unlock vital technologies and unique cosmetic items to adorn bustling communities. While the latest update encourages players to head out into the wasteland and explore the ruined vestiges of pre-cataclysm society, new things are afoot in the home base as well. The Tailor and Workshop buildings have both received upgrades, making them a safer bet for the long-term planning of a budding society.

More about Endzone – A World Apart

Endzone – A World Apart follows a group of refugees who, more than a century after a devastating worldwide nuclear power plant terrorist attack, are leaving their bunkers and rebuilding society above ground. Earth’s surface seems like a breath of fresh air, though that couldn’t be any further from the truth. Players will face the likes of toxic rain, dangerously radioactive environments, raging sandstorms, and a merciless climate. While spearheading the rise of humanity, men, women, and children will need protection from threats of all kinds, and there’s no telling what each new day will bring on the forsaken planet from which they’ve emerged.

Key Features Include:

The Pursuit of Happiness: The world as we know it is gone. Build a new home for the last human survivors! Provide them with a steady food and water supply, educate them on how to cultivate their own crops, and provide shelter that can withstand the worst the weather has to offer with over 50 different buildings, each with a significant purpose

Gather & Lead: As the leader of your settlement, coordinate and assign different professions and tasks. Let your people gather and refine a wide array of resources, and manage your economy by building an efficient infrastructure with streets, depositories, and markets

A Vivid, Dynamically Simulated World: Every inch of earth in the game features dynamically simulated humidity and radiation. Watch as rain clouds irrigate your soil, or prepare for ongoing battles against toxic rain as it brings devastating radiation to the land

Think like a Diplomat: The world beyond your safe and carefully crafted civilization is intimidating, but it’s your job to make the tough decisions that will secure the fate of your people, such as sending expeditions to remote, unexplored locations to source materials, locate resources, and more

Endzone – A World Apart is currently available as an Early Access game on Steam and GOG for Windows PC and will launch fully to both platforms on March 18, 2021, for $29.99 USD. As a limited-time launch discount, Endzone – A World Apart will be available for $23.99 USD.
