The Netherlands-based indie games publisher SOEDESCO and the Croatia-based indie games developer Red Martyr Entertainment, are today very proud and delighted to announce that their psychological horror adventure game “Saint Kotar” has just made its way to the 2021 edition of the Steam Awards! (it’s an annual user-voted event that celebrates video games published on Steam)

As the Steam Autumn Sale kicks off yesterday, players can nominate Saint Kotar for the Steam Awards under the ‘Outstanding Story-Rich Game’ category.

Saint Kotar is a story-and-choice-driven experience, with a dark and twisted narrative centered on devil worship, murder and the occult. The story takes place in a fictional cursed valley in Croatia called Sveti Kotar, where you switch between two characters as you unveil the horrifying secrets of the town.

Earlier today, a new update went live on Steam, GOG and Epic Games which focus on fixing remaining bugs and issues, new sound effects and animations, and a complete voice over overhaul that replaces several characters’ voice overs in the game.

This is accompanied by a voice comparison video uploaded by SOEDESCO, showing an extensive difference between the old and new voice overs.

About Saint Kotar
In this story-and-choice driven psychological horror detective game, you play as Benedek and Nikolay – two troubled godly men in search for their missing relative in an ancient God-devoted town called Sveti Kotar. Here, an unknown presence preys upon the weak and sways on devil worship and witchcraft. Evidence points to your missing relative being involved in the grisly murders and the occult, but what is the truth? Are you also to blame for what happened?

Will you put the pieces together and unravel the truth behind the town’s centuries-old horrid presence? Or is madness going to be your fate?
