The Netherlands-based indie games publisher SOEDESCO and the Croatia-based indie games developer Red Martyr Entertainment, today announced with great delight and thrill that their psychological horror adventure game “Saint Kotar” is coming digitally to consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) on October 14th, 2022.
In addition to its digital release, SOEDESCO will also release the physical version of the game worldwide.
Croatian Game of the Year 2021
Developed by Red Martyr Entertainment, Saint Kotar was successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2020 and launched on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG in October last year. Croatian gaming portal HCL.hr recently awarded Saint Kotar the Croatian Game of the Year 2021 Award in December, and the team then also made an appearance in a prime-time newscast on Croatian National Television HRT Dnevnik a month after. Lovecraftian horror set in a cursed valley in Croatia
Saint Kotar is a story-driven psychological horror game with point-and-click mechanics. Players can switch between two characters, Benedek and Nikolay, and experience everything through their unique perspectives while searching for their missing relative in the occult-ridden town of Sveti Kotar.
About Saint Kotar
In this story-and-choice driven psychological horror detective game, you play as Benedek and Nikolay – two troubled godly men in search for their missing relative in an ancient God-devoted town called Sveti Kotar. Here, an unknown presence preys upon the weak and sways on devil worship and witchcraft. Evidence points to your missing relative being involved in the grisly murders and the occult, but what is the truth? Are you also to blame for what happened?
Will you put the pieces together and unravel the truth behind the town’s centuries-old horrid presence? Or is madness going to be your fate?
