The Gaimersheim-based (Germany) indie games developer PSCD Games today announced with great pride and thrill that their retro fantasy hack-and-slash game “Black Jewel Reborn” has just managed to raise 65K USD on Kickstarter!
And it’s all thanks to the 785 backers who supported “Black Jewel Reborn” on Kickstarter, so this now means that the production of the game is now fully funded!
Black Jewel Reborn is a cooperative hack and slash set in a fantasy world soon to be released on 4 classic consoles: Genesis/Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, NES and Game Boy.
Black Jewel Reborn features 3 different playable characters, each of which have three normal attacks, a jump attack, and a special attack or call upon your god to help you, who will destroy everything on the screen.
After attaining two stretch goals, the finished game will now include a new level on all platforms and a new anthropomorphic dragon warrior with animal power and rage rolled into one.
At the moment, there is a demo version of Black Jewel Reborn on Genesis/Mega Drive and NES available for you to experience the gameplay.
