The indie games developer Treasure Coast Games are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just kicked-off the closed PC beta for their retro-inspired puzzle adventure game “Hamster Scramble” (Steam keys are available via Discord).

A fresh entry into the puzzle game genre, Hamster Scramble takes the core concepts of beloved retro classics like Puzzle Bobble, and builds on them with a unique multiplayer platforming and screen-swapping twist.

In each stage, players must chase down colourful hamsters, catch them and make matches to clear their board. The side swapping mechanic introduces a new level of interactivity never before seen in the versus puzzle genre – allowing players to invade their opponents’ space, steal hamsters, mess up their boards and even attack them to slow them down!

Hamster Scramble can be played solo, coop or in player versus player mode, and features a wholesome adventure campaign following twins Kaden and Quinn as they rescue a colourful cast of critters and help return the hamster village to its former glory.

With an art-style and narrative reminiscent of Saturday morning cartoons and an inventive fusion of classic puzzle mechanics, Hamster Scramble offers hours of delightful platform hopping, bubble popping action for families, friends and retro-puzzle game fans alike!
