The UK-based retro/indie games publisher Bitmap Soft and Mexico-based indie games developer César Arminio with his design studio 2think, today announced with great pride and happiness that their retro-like action-adventure RPG “Glory Hunters” is now fully funded on Kickstarter (the campaign will end in 26-days from now).

Thanks to the support of 624 backers, Copper Jacket is now 105% funded with $41,346 USD for an initial goal of $39,233USD! Now, the game will be completed and the physical cartridges will be produced.

Glory Hunters is an all-new action-adventure RPG for the original Game Boy with a unique and original twist: you progress through the game by obtaining achievements.

In Glory Hunters, glory points are the main currency to obtain achievements. Earn these glory points by performing glorious deeds that award them. Gather materials, aid the townsfolk in various quests, or dive into dungeons to defeat different kinds of mobs.

A free-to-play demo of Glory Hunters is currently available on itch.io to let you enjoy a snippet of this classic but unique action-adventure genre with RPG elements.
