Barcelona, Spain –March 19th, 2021.
Due to the support of 897 backers, independent games developer Greenboy Games pledged $72k, 1009% of it’s original goal on Kickstarter, to fund the production and development of “The Shapeshifter” yesterday.

The Shapeshifter is a fantasy adventure coming to Game Boy and Nintendo Entertainment System later this year or beginning of 2022 which will only be available in physical format in a boxed cartridge along with a manual.

The Shapeshifter can be currently acquired on Indiegogo and it will be eventually distributed in major storefronts and in the official Greenboy Games Website.

The Shapeshifter puts you in the shoes of Elliot, an ordinary person who meets an elf that will grant him the power of becoming the animal he touches. Go through 7 levels and save mankind from an unknown evil!

“It has actually become the most successful Kickstarter campaign ever to fund a project for Game Boy.

The portable version of The Shapeshifter will be fully compatible with all Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance handhelds. This includes the Analogue portable system and other devices.

The development of the NES version of The Shapeshifter will take place during 2021 and will require all the necessary creation and adaptation process. 2 months before the portability is complete, a new Kickstarter funding campaign will be set.”
