Barcelona, Spain. September 29th, 2022.
The Barcelona-based (Catalonian) indie games publisher JanduSoft and Córdoba-based (Spain) indie games developer Boomfire Games, are today super happy and excited to announce that their retro-like horror anthology game collection “The Creepy Syndrome“, is coming to PC (via Steam) and consoles (the PS4 and Xbox One) in Q4 2022.

Furthermore, Boomfire Games and JanduSoft has also just announced that they will release a time-limited playable demo for “The Creepy Syndrome” during Steam Next Fest October (2022). So be sure to check that demo out before the Steam Next Fest October event ends! (Steam Next Fest October runs between October 3rd och October 10th)

“The Creepy Syndrome” is an anthology of horror games. It will consist of various psychological horror stories with different pixel art styles: from a retro 1-bit style, to 8-bit, gameboy style visuals, etc.

All the stories are connected to each other. They belong to the same character whose disturbed mind will be analyzed by a mysterious psychiatrist.

A new horror experience in different pixel-art styles

In this demo of The Creepy Syndrome you will play two different stories with a unique pixel-art style. In “Lords of the Road” you will find an exploration game based in the region of Cordoba, a beautiful Spanish city where horrible events are happening.

You will also be able to play a part of “The Red Button”. A completely different story with a pixel-art style that reminds of the old Point ‘n Click adventure games. It will take place in a bunker where difficult decisions will be made. Are you prepared for the terrible consequences?.

During the week of Steam Next Fest we will stream a talk with Boomfire Games where they will give us more information about The Creepy Syndrome. It will be available on the game’s Steam page. Don’t forget to add The Creepy Syndrome to your Steam wishlist.
