Stuttgart, Germany – July 7th 2020 – ININ Games is proud to see the digital release of “Ultracore” on Sony PlayStation 4 in Europe and Australasia today after an unfortunate delay following the release on Nintendo Switch worldwide and Playstation 4 North America.

All Retro fans will finally be able to enjoy and soak up this incredible piece of gaming history. Ultracore is released digitally in Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand. The run & gun platformer is available in the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store for £17.99 / €19.99 / $22.99. A digital release for PS Vita will follow soon.

Developed by the famous Swedish game developer, Digital Illusions, also known as DICE, Ultracore has seen a truly remarkable transformation of this title that was never released in the 90’s. Now, in collaboration and with expertise from the original team, Ultracore has been morphed onto Nintendo Switch and Sony Playstation 4 (PS Vita to follow) to make this truly addictive platform run and gun come to life and to make an important piece of video game history available to a larger audience.

End Game

Fast gameplay, loads of challenges, explosive action and mean traps. Ultracore is a Eurostyle MetroidVania platformer with extensive levels and heavily armed bosses. Lovers of classic 2D action games will enjoy the vertical side-scrolling levels with intense Shoot’em Up action and an optional soundtrack featuring bands like Scandroid, Mega Drive, 3Force and many others.
