Mommy’s Best Games and Super Soul are today very proud and excited to announce that their retro-like shmup “Shoot 1UP DX” is now available for the Xbox One worldwide via the Microsoft store.

Furthermore, Mommy’s Best Games and Super Soul has also just announced that “Shoot 1UP DX” is now available for the Nintendo Switch in Europe as well (Mommy’s Best Games has already released Shoot 1UP DX to great acclaim on Nintendo Switch in NA).

Shoot 1UP DX is an award-winning twist on the shmup formula: instead of hoarding each 1UP, you now may play all your ships at the same time. Starting with three ships, players can continue to build an armada of fighters, and deftly blast their way through 8 wild levels of alien forces.

“The Xbox One is an incredible machine and shines brightest with lots of explosions, bullets, and wild effects” declared Nathan Fouts, lead designer, “Shoot 1UP DX has the most ships of any shooter, and to see it running at 4K resolution, at 60 fps is a sight to behold. Xbox One Worldwide Release December 4th
On December 4th, Shoot 1UP DX will be available worldwide for Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Shoot 1UP DX has been remastered, with higher resolution art, new enemies, more levels, and a locked framerate of 60fps.

Europe Release for Nintendo Switch
Fouts continued “I’m also very excited to release the game to Nintendo Switch in Europe. It has been a long submission process, but thank you to all our fans for waiting. Now let’s to get to shooting some crazy new monsters!”
