The Leipzig-based (German) indie games developer Homo Narrans Studio (a one-man studio) are today very happy and thrilled to announce that they will launch a Kickstarter campaign for their retro point-and-click adventure “Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders” on May 30th, 2022 (the full version of the game is coming to PC via Steam in 2022).
Solo game developer Homo Narrans Studio will be launching his Kickstarter Campaign to fund the retro point & click game, Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders for Steam on May 31.
Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders is an adventure game with unique gameplay mechanics. Control detective Joseph Kreiser, who examines objects, questions witnesses and interrogates suspects.
In Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders, there are multiple endings to each case. Your success or failure is up to your detective skills. Combine the collected clues in the notebook and decide which clues will lead to the culprit in the “mind-palace-like” Logic sheet.
A free-to-play Demo of Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders will be released for PC and Mac via Steam. The demo version will include the entire first of four cases to be solved.
The full version of the game is scheduled for release at the end of 2023 and will be released for Steam, PlayStation and Xbox as well as Mobile with German and English texts. To bring the characters to life, they will be voiced in German by professional voice actors.
