Bengaluru, India – September 28, 2026 – Independent game developer Tathvamasi Studios, in collaboration with the PlayStation India Hero Project, is thrilled to finally announce that pre-orders are now live for their debut title, SURI: The Seventh Note.

The rhythm action platformer is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 30, 2026.

To celebrate, the studio has released a brand-new gameplay trailer (shared on the official PlayStation India YouTube Channel), inviting players to experience the rhythm-infused world of Suri, where every action pulses with the beat.

Players can also take advantage of a 20% pre-order discount for the PS5 version starting today.

SURI: The Seventh Note puts players in the shoes of Ajira, a brave girl racing against time to save her mother from a mysterious illness. Her only hope lies in finding a magical fruit deep within an island torn apart by a corrupting rhythm. To overcome this dark force, players must master the beat, channel its power, and fight back through a world that shifts and reacts to every note.

“After nearly three years SURI has gone from an idea in our heads to a fully-realised game for the PS5 and PC,” says Glen Martin, Tathvamasi Studios CEO and Game Director of SURI: The Seventh Note.

Choose Your Edition

Players can prepare for their journey with two distinct editions:

Standard Edition ($19.99 USD): Includes the base game and a 20% pre-order discount (PS5 only).

Digital Deluxe Edition ($24.99 USD): Includes the base game, the Exclusive Chandini Skin, access to upcoming DLC, and 3-day Early Access (starting October 27, 2026), plus the 20% pre-order discount (PS5 only).

Note: The Chandini Skin is exclusive to the Deluxe Edition and will not be sold separately.

Exclusive PS5 Features

While SURI: The Seventh Note features haptics on PC, the team at Tathvamasi have enhanced the game for its PS5 release. SURI: The Seventh Note is built around the studio’s Rhythm Haptics Engine, designed specifically to leverage the immersive capabilities of the PS5’s DualSense controller. This engine transforms every track into three distinct entities: you hear the beat, you see the beat, and you feel the beat.

Utilising the PS5 DualSense wireless controller, players will feel every nuance of the world, from the flow of a soft melody to the impact of a corrupted downbeat. This multi-sensory approach makes SURI a truly unique audio-visual experience, drawing inspiration from the rich artistic and architectural traditions of India—from Rajput forts to the vibrant energy of Theyyam culture.
