Press release:
SEATTLE — June 11, 2023.
Slime 3K: Rise Against Despot“, the rogue-lite battler starring a sentient slime monster hellbent on destruction from developer Konfa Games and publisher tinyBuild, offers an oozy taste of the carnage to come in its gameplay reveal trailer unveiled earlier today at the PC Gaming Show pre-showcase.

Embrace gooey violence in the battle between a monstrous mass of self-aware slime and it’s horrid creator, the artificial intelligence known as d’Spot. Created as a quick means to artificially grow humans for d’Spot’s nefarious games, the blob defied its creator by developing its own AI conscious. Now begins the slime’s quest for revenge, annihilating everything in its path.

Unleash a horde of firearms with awesome synergies through clever rogue-lite decision making to become an indescribable pile of pain. Rather than rolling away from foes, this gelatinous mound rolls through its enemies, digesting everything as nutritional meat piles. Take advantage of the environment by sloughing through grates, gaining shockingly refreshing electrical abilities through Tesla amplifiers, and setting up traps for those poor little meat bags.

Inspired by deck building titles like Hearthstone Battlegrounds and survivor, bullet heaven games like Crimsonland, Slime 3K: Rise Against Despot’s ridiculous fun will have players coming back to satisfy their craving for power and rebellion. Bask in the fluid pixel art while moving and grooving to addictive electronic music oozing with viscous vibes and squelchy sound effects.

Slime 3K: Rise Against Despots expands the Despotism universe, previously seen in Despot’s Game: Dystopian Battle Simulator and Despotism 3K. The Despotism series serves as the perfect playground for pop culture and science fiction fans who enjoy the funny fear on the fringes of what it means to be human and how easily mankind is manipulated by technology.

“The fun part about evolving the Despotism universe is that it gets more outrageous with each new title,” said Nikolay Kuznetsov, Game Creator, Konfa Games.

“Slime 3K brings some of the same elements from the previous games mixed with new mechanics and a lot more chaos for an engaging game experience. What’s not to love about a murderous slime with the cutest smiley face?”

Slime 3K: Rise Against Despot comes to PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam later in 2023. It will support English, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese languages.
