The indie developer Lyra Studio are today very thrilled to announce that their roguelike deck-building/tower defense game, ‘FrostBound’, is coming to PC via Steam on November 27th, 2025. Players can add FrostBound to their Steam Wishlist now.

FrostBound takes inspiration from Game of Thrones, channelling its brutal battles, human conflicts, and the desperate fight against an endless winter. Echoing the firelit stands beyond the Wall, the game turns those themes into strategic survival, where fragile alliances, unexpected heroes, and unity are the only way to endure the cold.

FrostBound combines deep deck-building with tactical defense and roguelike replayability. With nine escalating difficulty levels, every run tests your adaptability – tougher enemies, tighter resources, and new events like Fortifications and Beacons that reshape the battlefield and your strategy.

Players can unlock and customize their deck from over 500 cards across four factions and five categories – Attack, Defense, Skill, Structure, and Elite – each offering new tactical options. Nurture powerful Elite heroes, exploit risky Curse cards, and experiment with endless combinations to craft your own path to survival.

Built on pillars of adaptive difficulty, replayable challenges, and achievement-driven progression, FrostBound ensures no two battles ever play the same. Whether you’re optimizing complex synergies, testing new deck archetypes, or pushing for survival at the hardest tier, every victory feels earned in this beautifully brutal frozen world.
