The UK-based indie games publisher PQube and Spain-based indie games developer Playstark are today very happy and excited to announce that their roguelike third-person shooter “Die After Sunset: First Dawn” is now available for free for PC via Steam.

Enter a hyper-colourful world being invaded by the Murkors and race against time to save the world! ‘Die After Sunset’ is due to release into Early Access soon on Steam.

‘Die After Sunset: First Dawn’ Features:

The first level of the game, the idyllic sands and blue waters of Waikiki Beach, are yours to explore – and loot!
Take on the role of April Blazestrong, and face off against a relentless Murkor invasion
A huge array of items and weapons, with powerful combinations to take on the Murkor hoard. Equip as much as you can before sundown!
A race against time in a bid to become powerful enough to challenge the final boss – the Murkraken!
A wide variety of side quests to undertake – where the more skilful you are in completing them, the richer the rewards and the more powerful you’ll become.

Taking on the role of April Blazestrong you’ll face off against a relentless Murkor invasion – aliens hell-bent on taking over the earth. But don’t be fooled! While they may look cute in the sunshine, in shadow they’re a menacing and near-unstoppable force.

In a race against the inevitable sunset, it’s up to you to tool up with an astonishing array of items, gadgets and weapons in order to take down the boss. But remember, death is not the end – for every defeat will only make your stronger. Collect Mukus from the fallen Murkors and cash it in, back at base to empower yourself for your next run!
