Marvelous Europe Limited are today excited to announce that “Rune Factory 5“, the long-awaited sequel in the beloved simulation RPG series, will receive an exclusive physical Limited Edition alongside the standard and digital editions when it launches on 25th March 2022 for the Nintendo Switch within Europe and Australia.

This physical Limited Edition of Rune Factory 5 will have an RRP of £64.99 / €79,99 and contain a physical copy of the game alongside a whole host of collectable content. As part of this collectable content, fans will receive a glorious Steelbook case, a softback art book featuring artwork from the game, and the “Melodies of Norad” soundtrack CD consisting of music from the Rune Factory franchise.

In addition to the physical collectable content, this Limited Edition will also contain exclusive in-game content in the form of additional costumes for the player character. This limited edition will be available at participating retailers within Europe and is exclusive to GAME in the UK.

In addition, Marvelous Europe Limited have today also confirmed that physical pre-orders at participating retailers, for both the Limited Edition and Standard Edition, will receive an adorable 8cm Wooly Plush Bag Tag as a pre-order bonus.

This Wooly Plush is inspired by the iconic, and beloved, Wooly character from the Rune Factory franchise and will only be available with pre-orders while supplies last at participating retailers across Europe and Australia. In the UK the Wooly Plush Bag Tag will be exclusive to pre-orders at GAME.

In Rune Factory 5 players will choose between male and female protagonists, Ares and Alice, and embark on an adventure from the town of Rigbarth in a quest to recover their lost memories and restore peace within the town, as part of the peacekeeping force known as Seed.

As part of this adventure, players will be able to explore vast dungeons, defeat vicious monsters, nurture nearby farmland and develop relationships with various characters to find true peace and happiness within the town of Rigbarth.

Newcomers and fans alike will be able to experience refined action-RPG combat, with eight different weapons, including Dual Blades, Spear and Axe, available to master, alongside iconic features such as farm management, town quests and festivals.

For a series first, Rune Factory 5 will also feature same-sex relationships so that fans can pursue their own romantic adventure. Whether you decide to fight off monsters around town, aid the townspeople with their troubles, or embrace your green-thumb dreams, Rune Factory 5 will offer an adventure like no other when it launches on Nintendo Switch.

Developed by Marvelous Inc. and published in Europe and Australia by Marvelous Europe Limited, Rune Factory 5 is scheduled to launch physically and digitally on 25th March 2022 on the Nintendo Switch. This game has not yet been rated.
