Press release:
June 4, 2026 | BigCodersPlanet is excited to announce Empluna, a stunning low-poly sandbox city builder coming to PC via Steam. If Cities: Skylines is too complex and Townscaper is too simple, Empluna might be exactly what you’ve been looking for. The demo is available now ahead of Steam Next Fest, which kicks off June 15th.

About Empluna
Empluna is a city builder where you don’t just place buildings, you plan, construct and design them yourself. Every room in every building is yours to decide. Every street, every neighbourhood. The focus is on creative construction with complete freedom. The economy, society and resources support your decisions rather than restrict them. The result is a city that reacts dynamically to your actions and grows with you.
Starting from scratch in a modern urban project, you attract craftsmen, families, professionals, researchers, artists and tourists. Each group brings its own needs and expectations. Schools, healthcare, race tracks, mountain lifts, amusement parks. What gets built is up to you.
No harsh economic simulation. No rigid templates. Just a city that looks and works exactly the way you want it to.

Key Features

Custom building system: Design everything from individual rooms to full industrial complexes. Save your blueprints and reuse them.
Living city: Different population groups move in with their own needs and expectations. Your decisions shape which areas flourish.
Road and rail: Connect your city with roads, rail networks, race tracks and mountain lifts.
Resource management: Production, storage, import and export of goods drive a growing economy.
Procedural terrain: Every map is uniquely generated and fully yours to reshape. Sculpt, flatten and reshape the landscape however you need.

About BigCodersPlanet
BigCodersPlanet is a small indie team that has spent years building tools and assets for other developers. Empluna is their first full game. Their passion project.
