The London-based (the UK) indie games publisher PQube and Taiwan-based indie games developer 18Light Game Ltd., today announced with great happiness and thrill that they have just released a free demo for their upcoming sci-fi boss-rush game “NanoApostle“ (the said demo is available right now for PC via Steam).

Furthermore, 18Light Game Ltd. and PQube has also just annonced that they have released a brand-new gameplay trailer for “NanoApostle” (the trailer features the game’s very first boss, The Berserker!). So be sure to check that one out! (you can watch the said trailer further down the page)

Other than that, PQube and 18Light Game Ltd. also announced that “NanoApostle” will be will be playable for the first time at the WASD 2024 event in London.

THE BOSSES
THE BERSERKER

Wielding two giant axes, the Berserker overwhelms with a flurry of close-range strikes before leaping into the air to unleash a devastating ground pound.

Don’t stray too far, however, as the Berserker is also equipped with long-range capabilities such as a sweeping laser beam and projectiles.
THE COMMANDER

A tactical manipulator, the Commander is capable of summoning swarms of drones that come equipped with different offensive capabilities.

Use your nanites to take control of the drones and turn the weapons against her.

THE DESTRUCTION POINT SYSTEM
The Destruction Point system is the key to defeating these imposing boss battles. Every enemy has a weakness and Anita can utilise her Nanites to exploit them. During combat, the boss will occasionally be exposed to a counterattack, represented by a depleting circle surrounding the boss.

Attacking the enemy during this brief window with either a melee or ranged attack will trigger the Destruction Point. If done correctly, Anita will stagger the enemy and a second prompt to grapple towards them will appear. This move will deal significant damage and render the boss briefly staggered for follow-up strikes.

Anita can also trigger the Destruction Point by successfully parrying certain attacks or deflecting blasts back at the boss. Timing is everything, hone these skills and take them with you as you face down the Berserker and the Commander.
