The Saint Augustine-based (FL, the US) indie games developer Anima Flux team are today very happy and excited to announce that their sci-fi co-op metroidvania “Anima Flux“, is coming to PC via Steam on October 7th, 2024.

Anima Flux is a metroidvania adventure set in a dystopian setting where you play as 2 genetically enhanced soldiers. As humanity’s last hope, your main goal is to fend off hoards of mutated monstrosities that are trying to take over the last piece of human civilization.

Anima Flux is played as a co-op game even as a single player, where you get to control both characters to overcome various challenges and different fights.

Anima Flux is a retro-futuristic dystopian game that offers a deep, engaging experience through couch co-op gameplay, a detailed game world, and hand-drawn animated cutscenes. The story explores the cost of existence in a morally ambiguous world. Players control two characters, one melee and one ranged, who must protect each other in battle to survive. Whether playing solo or in co-op, players must strategically use both characters’ abilities to overcome challenges and uncover the world’s mysteries.

The Launch date of Anima Flux is set for the 7th of October, 2024 on Steam.

Co-Op Metroidvania
