The Zurich-based (Switzerland) indie games publisher Metaroot and indie games developer Kerzoven, today announced with great joy and thrill that their settlement-building/strategy game “Of Life and Land“, is now available for PC (Windows and Linux) via Steam Early Access for 24,99 USD.

In this charming settlement-building strategy game every animal and plant try to find their place in nature. Expand to different regions and trade with local factions to gain needed resources.

Of Life and Land is a city-building game where players take on the role of a leader tasked with establishing settlements in untamed regions. They navigate through various seasons and climates, while managing resources and interacting with a dynamically simulated ecosystem.

The game emphasizes balancing human development with environmental preservation, offering a rich and immersive gameplay experience. Also, Of Life and Land challenges players to manage multiple settlements simultaneously, each with its own unique characteristics and demands, adding depth and complexity to the gameplay.

About Team Kerzoven
Of Life and Land was a solo project for a long time until Marco Burri made some friends on the way. Marco started developing games over ten years ago besides his career as an automation technician and later software engineer. One of his most famous games is Legend of Ahssûn, where he was working in the core team as a generalist and is still supporting the project today.
