The Singapore-based indie games publisher The Iterative Collective and indie games publisher Reckoner Industries, are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just released the free “Sandbox Mode” DLC for their synthesizer-inspired puzzle/simulation game “The Signal State” (the said DLC is available right now for PC via Steam and GOG for Windows and MAC OS).

Synth enthusiasts will now be able to use the modules from the game, designed by Papernoise, to create their own music outside of the limitations of logic puzzles. Let your imagination run wild and generate your own beats in an unrivaled digital simulation of analogue sound. Sandbox Mode is perfect for experienced synth users to experiment with new ideas and also is an opportunity for rookie tinkerers to figure out the basics.

Here are the full patch notes for the new update:
– Introduced the Sandbox Mode. Use this mode to explore new circuit ideas and to experiment around with the game’s modules.
– Added new Sandbox-exclusive modules. Make music, create animations, make interactive circuits and more.
– Added additional warnings to the puzzle editor for when a change might delete the player’s validation save file.
– Improved Korean translations.
– Significantly improved frame rate performance.
– Miscellaneous small bugs and improvements.
