Tokyo, Japan – February 12th, 2026 – Shueisha Games is thrilled to announce Yakoh Shinobi Ops, a co-op tactical stealth action game developed by ACQUIRE Corp., is coming to PlayStation 5 and Steam in 2027. A first-look announcement trailer and teaser visuals were revealed during Sony’s latest State of Play showcase, highlighting the game’s Warring States era Japan setting and authentic shinobi infiltration experience.

Infiltrate, deceive, survive.
Your group of four Shinobi will need to work together to escape near-certain death in this hardcore stealth action game.

What is Yakoh Shinobi Ops
Four Shinobi lurk in the darkness, silently dash across the land like shadows in the night.
What awaits your team of Shinobi at the end of their operation? Paradise… or almost certain death? True Shinobi do not need to kill their opponents. Master the arts of concealment and deceive your enemies. Undying Pursuers are relentless, and survival depends on avoiding them at all costs. An operation is only complete when every Shinobi returns alive.

Blend into the night and infiltrate enemy territory
Your operation will take you behind enemy lines, where the watchful sentries and countless deadly traps lie in wait. Reaching your objective demands careful coordination, calling upon the skills each Shinobi has mastered. Move like a shadow. Synchronise with your fellow Shinobi. Slip unseen through the darkness. A split-second misstep can cost a Shinobi their life. Search for vital clues. Press deeper into the enemy stronghold. Survive the unseen dangers ahead.

Use unique Ninjutsu to overcome the impossible
Each Shinobi wields unique Ninjutsu – from scaling heights with grappling hooks and smashing through walls to carving new paths, to deploying smokescreens and flash grenades to disorient foes. Each Shinobi must understand their role and act in perfect harmony. What one cannot achieve alone, four can accomplish together.

Return alive by avoiding the spectre of death
Merely completing the operation isn’t enough. Shinobi must return alive to truly fulfill their duty. Work with your team, evade the specter of death, and use every method at your disposal to survive. Overcoming such trials is the way of the Shinobi.

To fight the deadly “Hunters” head-on is to embrace certain death. Survival demands evasion to achieve your noble mission. Their relentless pursuit delivers a stealth experience unlike anything you’ve encountered.

Yakoh Shinobi Ops delivers authentic, stealth-driven co-operative gameplay where evasion, patience, tactical planning and careful movement define the way of the shinobi. Yakoh Shinobi Ops launches in 2027 on PlayStation 5 and Steam, localized in English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Simplified & Traditional Chinese and Korean, and supports 1 – 4 players online.
