Charleroi, Belgium –August 3, 2020– Independent development studio Maratus Games released the Prologue of ARISEN – Chronicles of Var’Nagal, coming to PC in 2021.

ARISEN – Chronicles of Var’Nagal is a story driven RPG with beautiful visuals set in the island of Maccialatt. Take on the role of a slave who will embark on a quest for freedom.

In ARISEN – Chronicles of Var’Nagal you can shape the personality of your character with “Emotion” cards (Fear, Sorrow, Disgust, Anger, Joy) an interact with a wide array of people who evolve in a unique and peculiar universe.

The Prologue of ARISEN – Chronicles of Var’Nagal is a free playable alpha demo containing around half an hour of gameplay. It introduces the final mechanics and lore building of the game.

Features:
– Take decisions that will impact the world around you in a more and more dire way, the further you progress in the story.
– Shape the personality of your character choice after choice with “Emotion” cards (Fear, Sorrow, Disgust, Anger, Joy).
– Replay and try to obtain every existing ending.
– Enjoy a captivating original soundtrack.

Maratus is an indie video game development studio based in Mons, Belgium, and born during the Creative Jam held in the city in 2018. Since then, Anaïs, Elene, Sylvain and Wendy joined together and started the development of ARISEN – Chronicles of Var’Nagal in February 2019.
