The Rome-based (Italy) indie games publisher Leonardo Interactive and Olevano Romano-based (Lazio, Italy) indie games developer Invader Studios, are today extremely happy and thrilled to announce that their survival horror game “Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle” (the prequel of the acclaimed “Daymare: 1998”), is coming to PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and the Xbox One) on August 30th, 2023.

Furthermore, Invader Studios and Leonardo Interactive has also just announced that they are going to release a brand-new gameplay demo for “Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle” on May 11th, 2023.

Developed by Italian team Invader Studios, Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle cast players as special agent Dalila Reyes, a former government spy now in the service of the H.A.D.E.S. (Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search) unit. Reyes’ mission seems simple: enter the most advanced experimental research centre in the United States of America. But who knows what dangers await her?

Entering the Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle demo, players will experience both the first steps into the game story, having a detailed look at the game’s mechanics and graphics and the combat model, with the possibility to try out most of the in-game weapons such as the liquid nitrogen-enhanced Frost Grip.

The demo will also allow players to provide feedback and suggestions to the developers, which will be considered for the final version of the game together with the final fine-tuning. In a massive effort to meet & match the high expectations of the community and lovers of the franchise, Leonardo Interactive decided to move to August the final game release.

The Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle demo will be available for download on Steam® beginning May 11, 2023. Experience a sneak peek of the thrilling gameplay and story that awaits players in the full version of the game.

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle will launch on Aug. 30, 2023 for PC via Steam and consoles. In the meantime, players can immerse themselves in the demo to get a taste of the excitement that awaits them.
