The indie games publisher Nordcurrent and indie games developer FlyAnvil today announced with great joy and delight that their survival/tower defense/ARPG “Decision: Red Daze” is coming to pc via Steam in early 2022.

Adding a gameplay layer of tower defense and survival mechanics, Decision: Red Daze puts you in charge of a group of survivors of the terrible Red Daze — a strange disease that leaves only destruction in its wake, turning people into horrible mutant monsters.

Civilization as we know it has collapsed — and now you and your ragged band of survivors are the last glimmer of hope for humankind. Explore a dangerous, apocalyptic wasteland in search of survivors and resources like ammo and food.

At the same time, you’ll be in charge of crafting weapons and gear for your team, upgrading and expanding your settlements, and building its defenses to protect them from the wandering hordes of monsters.

Red Daze is the new entry of the Decision franchise — born as Flash-based games in 2012, its three first entries became a cult hit, gathering a huge and loyal fanbase over the years.

These games won several accolades, including Best Shooting Game at the Mochi Awards 2013, Best Action Game of 2014 by Armor Games, and Best Indie Game at DevGAMM Kyiv 2013. This new entry brings the franchise to Steam, updating and expanding its core gameplay in a fresh, engaging and thrilling experience.

ABOUT THE GAME
Decision: Red Daze is an isometric action RPG with a unique mix of survival and tower defense mechanics. As the Red Daze engulfs the continent, leaving destruction and horribly mutated monsters in its wake, survivors are the only glimmer of hope the human race has. As the leader of a settlement, you must find these people and recruit them in order to clear the Earth from this dangerous disease.

Feel the adrenaline rush fighting back hordes of horrible zombies, mutants, and other deadly creatures that will try to kill you at sight, explore the world in search of new allies, find and upgrade deadly weapons, craft increasingly powerful defense mechanisms to keep your settlements safe. ABOUT FLYANVIL
FlyAnvil is an independent game development team. Our development team is currently comprised of two brothers who are childhood fans of computer-based gaming. One is the Lead Programmer and the other works as the Lead Artist. We are a pair of hard-working and committed independent game developers who form the game development company known as FlyAnvil.

As the sole developers of FlyAnvil, we are responsible for the software code, visual content, art, sound, and design that goes into all of our projects. At the beginning of our creative career, we used to create small flash games that could be played for free on all the relevant gaming portals.
