The Vancouver-based (Canada) indie games publisher/developer Smoking Gun Interactive today announced with great joy and excitement that their tactical card collecting strategy game “Phobies” is coming to PC (via Steam) and mobile (iOS and Android) in early 2022.

Some of the creative minds behind the legendary Company of Heroes have swapped the battlefields of WW2 for the battlefield of the human brain in Phobies… and all the weird and wacky things humans get scared of.

This hex-based strategy is set to come in the near future to mobile and PC, fully stocked with a cast of over 120 creepy critters, concepts and creatures. Killer clowns? Yes. Vampires? Of course. That mechanical monkey with the cymbals? Obviously.

There’s no need for players to be scared about not having enough time to play either.

Whether it’s a spare half an hour during lunch break or even a few minutes when nature calls, Phobies grants complete player freedom, with multiple modes on offer. Async battle mode is best for playing on-going games with multiple breaks, and the Arena Battle Mode is the home of non-stop PvP action.
