Munich, Germany — August 17th, 2020 — The German game development studio HOONAYA announced today that their first mobile arcade action game “Danger Darrel” will launch on iOS and Android on the 14th of October 2020.

Set in a remote and hostile canyon valley, the player will assist retired pilot Darrel to push his acquired aircrafts to their limits and build a collection of planes.

Darrel seeks the thrill which is why he made the ever-changing canyon landscape his testing grounds.

Danger Darrel was developed with the user in mind, aiming for beautiful & optimised graphics with a bare minimum of advertising to keep the gameplay in focus. Danger Darrel takes the classic arcade games into a new level with its details.

HOONAYA‘s founder Philip Zeitler stated:

“Danger Darrel has become my passion project. I wanted to create a casual classic arcade action game that doesn’t just let you proceed through a level by swiping from left to right, I wanted to create a game that challenges and emerges you with constantly occurring and dynamically changing events to keep the player on the edge of their seat – wanting to beat their friends‘ highscores“

Considering each airplanes unique characteristics and flying mechanics, the player aims to fly Danger Darrel and his aircrafts as far as possible whilst keeping an eye on the fuel level and making sure to collect fuel on the way, challenging the player to go for the easy route or the harder but more rewarding route as big boulders come crashing down.

Features of ”Danger Darrel“ include:

• A constantly changing environment with various dynamic challenges and lighting changes.
• Multiple Leaderboards to compete with your friends and other players on a global scale.
• Possibility to unlock a range of airplanes with unique flying mechanics and properties as you level up.
• Ability to acquire multiple skins and gadgets to give your planes your personal touch.

In order to assist in the game launch phase, HOONAYA started a Kickstarter Campaign aiming to receive funding for marketing purposes and advertising to grow the player community.
