(June 13, 2020) – Independent publishing label Modus Games, along with developers Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK, today announced the beautiful turn-based indie love letter to classic JRPGs, “Cris Tales“, will launch November 17, 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.

Cris Tales is also planned for a release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Additionally, the game’s free demo on Steam and GOG is now updated with new enemies and a never-before-seen Colosseum battle mode.

Today’s news arrived with a stunning cinematic unveiled during the PC Gaming Show, revealing protagonist Crisbell’s fight to prevent her homeland’s fiery demise at the hands of a menacing Empress. Aided by her powerful party members and dapper amphibian guide, Crisbell stands as the world of Crystallis’ lone hope for a bright future.

The newly updated demo on Steam and GOG introduces a new, mini Colosseum experience! Willhelm joins the party for eight progressively harder battles where players will face new foes and test their mettle in a mini-boss fight! This Colosseum mode gives a glimpse of the Colosseum experience that will be available in the full game.
