The Nicosia-based (Cyprus) indie games developer AurumDust today announced with great thrill and delight that they have juss released an brand-new time-limited demo for their turn-based RPG “Ash of Gods: The Way” (the said demo is avaible right now for PC via Steam as a part of the first ever edition of TurnBasedFest).

Developer AurumDust expects to release the game early 2023.

From today through to December 12th the very first edition of TurnBasedFest, an online festival to celebrate everything concerning the turn-based genre, will take place. During this online festival, players can try out a new demo of Ash of Gods: The Way on Steam and experience all the changes made by developer AurumDust since their previously released Ash of Gods: Redemption, which sold over 180.000 copies and won several awards. Thanks to its unique artstyle, Ash of Gods: The Way has already won the award for Best Art at the Games Gathering Conference in 2021.

Ash of Gods: The Way is a story-driven game with tactical card combat and multiple possible endings. The rules and objectives can shift with every battle – even the shapes and sizes of the battlefields themselves are often changing. Players are forced to adapt their strategy and switch up their decks often in order to keep coming out on top.

The game’s original two-deck gameplay, unique scripts and diverse array of locations make sure to keep the stakes high, challenging players to approach every fight from a fresh perspective. In the end, will they manage to make the right choices and prevent a war that will devastate their home and the entire Berkana Kingdom?

Developer AurumDust expects to release Ash of Gods: The Way early 2023.
