The Boston-based independent game developer Terrible Posture Games are today extremely proud and excited to announce that season two of their unique playable sitcom “3 out of 10” is launching its second season for PC via the Epic Games Store on April 8th, 2021.

Before the debut, catch up on Season One’s larger-than-life game dev storylines, launching on Nintendo Switch today alongside a surprise debut on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Over 9 million players added 3 out of 10’s debut season to their Epic Games Store libraries. Today, Nintendo Switch and Xbox console players can binge the entire five-episode season for themselves. Play at up to 4K resolution and 60FPS on Xbox Series X. Exclusive to console, unlock and enjoy special features, including actor profiles, the official soundtrack, a concept art gallery, Big Head Mode, director commentary, and the surprise-laden Open Explore Mode for revisiting Season One’s many detailed environments.

Hot on the heels of 3 out of 10’s console premiere, the much-anticipated second season will bring five new episodes to the Epic Games Store for PC, all for free. Go behind-the-scenes of daily life for game developers, with raw, unfiltered looks at caffeine-fueled dimension hopping, gamer cred nightclubs, and other 9-to-5 doldrums. Every episode, all available on launch day, blends adventure game exploration with mini-game homages to every conceivable genre and franchise.

With a digestible runtime, scene selection, scene skip, and rewind capabilities, each episode makes it easy to follow the ongoing story of Shovelworks Studios. Where last we left the crew, new animator Midge Potter had just found a sliver of normalcy despite Pylon’s ketchup obsession, Francine’s sentient mannequins, spontaneously combusting coworkers, and Joan’s… uh, Joan. But the shadowy Parasol Agency wants Midge to sabotage the studio and ensure they never earn a review score higher than 3 out of 10.

More twists and turns wait just around the corner, and with development horribly askew totally on-track, the stakes are higher than ever. Stand against a horde of teleporting game designers in a mega-manly 2D boss battle. Twist metal in a car-battle showdown to escape a rival studio’s campus. Dance your way to victory in a rhythm-based rap battle about cows. Survive vicious murder drones in an FPS arena duel and playtest the tabletop version of… an endless endful runner?

“People might look at Season Two’s storylines and mini-games and think, ‘Wow. They’ve officially jumped the shark,” said Joe Mirabello, “writer” and “director,” Terrible Posture Games.

“Well, joke’s on them! Shovelworks’ game is called Surfing with Sharks, not Jumping with Sharks. They cut jumping to hit their deadlines.”
