Neverout will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch on the 10th of July.

June 27, 2018 – The unique puzzle game Neverout by Gamedust from Poland, will soon be available on Nintendo Switch. The game debuted as a title created mainly for VR. However, developers from Gamedust managed to port it to Switch without sacrificing the core gameplay. Thanks to the mobility of the device, the game even gained additional functionality. From July 10th, 2018, Nintendo owners will be able to try their hand at this demanding game.

Will you survive?
Neverout is a complex spatial puzzle game with unconventional gameplay mechanics. The player wakes up in a cube and has to find a way out of this deadly trap. It quickly turns out that leaving the first room is only the beginning of the journey. Neverout is more than just 60 challenging levels. Difficulty level increases with every puzzle player manages to solve. Numerous obstacles, electric fields and deadly spikes will make the escape even harder. In order to avoid them, the player must use teleports, movable blocks and the ability to rotate a whole level around. At any given moment, even the slightest mistake can end tragically.

Innovative solutions
The game was originally created for Virtual Reality. After the premiere on Gear VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift the game was very warmly received by the reviewers (5/5 on VRFocus.com, 8,5/10 on Vrgiant.com) and players, who praised Neverout for its satisfactory level of difficulty, interesting game mechanics and claustrophobic atmosphere referring to the classic movie from the 90s – “Cube”.

A group of Nintendo fans inside the Gamedust studio team managed to push the idea of porting the game into the newest console of the Japanese tycoon – Switch. They saw Neverout’s huge potential as a title that would work great both on VR and the hybrid console from Nintendo. Innovative approach did not deprive the game of its soul. Neverout is still very addictive and can make the player feel as if he is really locked inside the mysterious cube.

The release of Neverout on the Nintendo Switch platform was announced for July 10, 2018. Purchase the pre-sale game for $5.99 at Nintendo eShop.
