Press release:
The US-based indie games publisher The Retro Room Games are today very proud and happy to announce that their unreleased dune flying shooter GBA game “Elland: The Crystal Wars” is now fully funded via Kickstarter (at the time of the publication of this post, the game is currently over 105% funded).
Thanks to 133 backers over the three first days, the kickstarter campaign has raised funds to cover the costs related to the production and development of Elland: The Crystal War.
Elland: The Crystal Wars is the reincarnation of a previously canceled game 20 years ago that was originally licensed with the IP of Dune and developed by Soft Brigade. Dropping the Dune IP, the game is finally getting a physical release including cartridge, box, and instruction booklet.
With 54 days left of the campaign, don’t hesitate to get back to us if you need more information about Elland: The Crystal Wars.

The Retro Room Games has been developing and publishing games for two years. It has been a dream of theirs to bring entertainment to the masses for many years and through development and publishing they can achieve that goal. Another very important aspect of what they do besides creating games is preservation of licensed games by giving them the attention and physical re-released that they deserve. Their goal is to have others enjoy what they build and keep retro gaming alive for many years to come.
