The Quebec & Los Angeles-based (Canada and the -US) indie games developer Nesting Games, are today very thrilled and proud to announce that their upcoming urban fantasy ARPG “Directorate Novitiate“, is coming to PC via Steam Early Access this summer (2025).

Furthermore, Nesting Games today also announced that they have released a brand-new trailer for “Directorate Novitiate”, so be sure to check that one out! (you can watch the said trailer further down the page!).

The trailer introduces Kana Luna, Mercury in the shadows, a young woman torn between two worlds: her everyday life and the hidden, magical criminal empire of the Directorate. Set against the backdrop of 2006 Los Angeles, Mercury is drawn into a web of betrayal, grief, and supernatural conflict.

With quiet intensity and stylized noir visuals, the trailer teases Mercury’s double life. By day, she’s a daughter and friend; by night, an assassin navigating a secret war between Syndicates. As the mysterious Constellation Killer closes in, Mercury faces impossible choices between loyalty, survival, and her own humanity.

About the Game
