Today publisher Serenity Forge (Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!) and developer Deer Dream Studios revealed that they’re bringing their psychological horror dating sim Cooking Companions to Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on April 29th, 2025. Cooking Companion’s debut on consoles is also accompanied by a PlayStation 5.

Whisking together cute visuals into a deliciously dark tale, Cooking Companions follows a group of friends that find themselves trapped in a cabin deep in the woods of the Tatras Mountains. As starvation begins to set in, strange events start to occur and unsavory challenges must be faced. Spend your time wisely by exploring rooms of the cabin, building relationships, and carving your own path in this multi-ending visual novel.

Originally released on Steam, Cooking Companions has become a cult hit on YouTube and Twitch. This upcoming console release introduces 15 fully animated cutscenes, new secrets to be discovered, and is fully localized in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese. The PC version of Cooking Companions will also receive these languages and animations as a free update on April 29, 2025.
