The Boulder-based (Colorado. the US) indie games publisher Serenity Forge and Minnesota-based (the US) indie games developer Deer Dream, today announced with great joy and thrill that their viral psychological horror dating sim “Cooking Companions”, is now available for consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) via digital stores.

Deep in the woods of the Tatras Mountains, a group of friends find themselves trapped inside a mysterious cabin. As supplies begin to dwindle and flood waters rise, burdensome choices must be made to survive the days ahead. Spend your time carefully building relationships, exploring rooms, or uncovering the dark secrets of the cabin. Will you butter up the right person? Or will you wind up on the chopping block?

Blending Eastern European folklore into an unexpected package, Cooking Companions is a multi-ending visual novel jam-packed with lore and unlockables. This console debut introduces 15 fully animated cutscenes, hidden secrets, and full translations for English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. These new languages and content additions are also available now as a free update for Cooking Companions on PC.

Earlier this month Serenity Forge also announced a Cooking Companions Premium Physical Edition for PlayStation 5 filled with goodies and collectibles. Pre-orders are open today at the Serenity Forge Store, Amazon, and Walmart.
