The Second Premium Campaign Brings a Complete Redesign, Radically Changing the Way Fans Play Raiders of the Broken Planet.

Press release:
San Sebastian de los Reyes, Spain – November 30th, 2017 – Independent studio MercurySteam today announced that Wardog Fury, the second premium campaign for Raiders of the Broken Planet, is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Just like the first campaign, Alien Myths, Wardog Fury is available to purchase as a stand-alone campaign for just €/$/£9.99.

Wardog Fury includes four new epic story missions, all playable in single-player, 4 player co-op or the intense 4 v 1 Antagonist mode, and a new exclusive character. In this story, the Raiders will face the deranged General Marmalade and his Umbra Wardogs faction. General Marmalade conducts Aleph experiments on himself and his units, creating mutants that are as grotesque as they are deadly. Wardog Fury players will exclusively be able to recruit one of Marmalade’s rogue experiments, Loaht, in the first mission.

But those are not the only changes arriving to Raiders of the Broken Planet. The game’s economy and reward system will experience a complete overhaul, radically changing the way fans play Raiders of the Broken Planet.

Now, Raiders of the Broken Planet’s missions from Wardog Fury and Alien Myths premium campaigns can be temporarily unlocked using Gold, the currency earned by completing objectives during the game. All players can invest their Gold rewards in unlocking missions they still don’t own for 4 hours.

An Invitations system has also been implemented, allowing players to invite friends to play missions they don’t own, with both players receiving a reward in Mercury Points or Gold. Other aspects of the game’s economy have also been rebalanced, giving more relevance to Faction and Character points and the possibility of converting Mercury Points into Gold allowing more freedom to the players to unlock new characters and building weapon Blueprints.

The Antagonist role has also been redefined. Even the best Antagonist players may struggle when facing an experienced team of Raiders, and now they will be getting a reward for their efforts even if they ultimately don’t win the match.

Raiders of the Broken Planet is available now on Steam, the Xbox Store and the PlayStation Store. The free Eternal Soldier campaign contains two missions, seven characters and sets the stage for the incredible story to follow. The first and second campaigns of the 2017 Season, Alien Myths and Wardog Fury, are available to purchase for €/$/£9.99 each. Alien Myths includes the lethal sniper Shae as an exclusive character. Wardog Fury includes the transforming beast Loaht as an exclusive character. Each campaign is its own self-contained story, allowing players purchase and play in any order, without needing to have played a previous campaign. Playing all four campaigns will reveal even more about the mysteries of the Broken Planet and the factions fighting for its control.
